Terrance McKinney（@twrecks155）：

Alan Jouban（@AlanJouban）：

Belal Muhammad（@bullyb170）：哇，Johnny Walker！

Belal Muhammad（@bullyb170）：

Alan Jouban（@AlanJouban）：@JasonHerzogMMA

— 德里克·布伦森（Derek Brunson，@DerekBrunson），2026年11月8日","![Johnny Walker](/media/objects/70/70468700f3a6aa2e5d60c0e57a40cc374e365d4f68947df469c9dc99fd2c03b7_thumb.jpg)

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - NOVEMBER 07: Johnny Walker of Brazil reacts after knocking out Waldo Cortes Acosta of the Dominican Republic in a heavyweight fight during the UFC Fight Night event at Meta APEX on November 07, 2026 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC)

Johnny Walker went through the fire, but ultimately got the finish in his fifth UFC main event.

Walker made his second heavyweight appearance on short notice against Waldo Cortes-Acosta in the headliner of UFC Vegas 124 on Saturday at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.

Cortes-Acosta looked to be cruising early, winning the first two rounds on two of the judges’ scorecards, hurting Walker on the feet on multiple occasions, and then leaning on his grappling at the tail end of Round 2 to cap things off. Walker then landed a big shot out of nowhere to stun “Salsa Boy” before charging across the octagon and landing a huge punch that floored Cortes-Acosta.

Referee Jason Herzog tried to stop it, but Walker was a bit overenthusiastic and landed a couple of bonus shots. But in the end, Walker improves to 2-0 before calling fans out who believe his chin is suspect.

UFC pros, past and present, gave their reactions to the crazy main event.

Out of no where unpredictable🔥🔥🔥

— Terrance McKinney (@twrecks155) November 8, 2026

Expect the unexpected

— Alan Jouban (@AlanJouban) November 8, 2026

Wooow Johnny Walker

— Belal Muhammad (@bullyb170) November 8, 2026

His unpredictability and athleticism is gonna be a problem at heavyweight

— Belal Muhammad (@bullyb170) November 8, 2026

@JasonHerzogMMA took a beating on his monumental night

— Alan Jouban (@AlanJouban) November 8, 2026

JOHNNY WALKER v Waldo Cortes Acosta at the Apex is criminal 😂😂😂!
